Quebec Premier François Legault and Quebec health officials provided an update on the ongoing provincial response to COVID-19 on Tuesday.
Legault said that the province has reported 29 new COVID-19-related deaths, which brings the total death toll to 150. According to the premier, Quebec also reported a total of 9,340 confirmed cases of COVID-19, which is an increase of 760 new cases from the previous day.
Quebec is also facing a shortage of something called reagent, a material needed to conduct the COVID-19 screening tests, stating there’s only has about six or seven days-worth of supply left in the province.
